Shipping and Delivery Policy

Fresh Taste Bakery offers local delivery across New York City, Westchester County, and select areas of New Jersey, as well as nationwide shipping for select items such as our Layers of Luxe Cake Jars and Carrot Cake Cookies.

Local Delivery:
All local deliveries are fulfilled through our trusted courier partners. Delivery fees are calculated based on distance from our Bronx, NY location and will appear at checkout. Orders are typically delivered within the scheduled window you select. Someone must be available to receive perishable goods upon delivery. Fresh Taste Bakery is not responsible for packages left unattended.

Nationwide Shipping:
Nationwide orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday to prevent weekend delays. Each dessert is packaged to maintain freshness using insulation and gel packs as needed. Once shipped, you will receive tracking information via email. We cannot guarantee delivery times once a package is in transit with the carrier. Fresh Taste Bakery is not responsible for delays or damage caused by shipping carriers or incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

Pick-Up Orders:
Pick-ups are available by appointment only at our Bronx, NY facility. Please confirm your scheduled time before arrival.

Order Cancellation & Modifications

Because our products are made to order, all sales are final once production begins.

  • Orders must be canceled or modified within 24 hours of purchase to be eligible for a refund or adjustment.
  • Once baking or custom decoration has started, we cannot issue refunds or accept changes.
  • For custom cake orders, deposits are non-refundable, as they reserve your date and cover prep time.
  • Fresh Taste Bakery reserves the right to cancel orders due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., ingredient shortages, weather-related delays, or delivery limitations). In such cases, you will be notified immediately and refunded in full.

Return & Refund Policy

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with photos and details at freshtastenyc@gmail.com. We will review each concern on a case-by-case basis and may issue a replacement or partial refund at our discretion.

We do not issue refunds for:

  • Incorrect addresses or delivery attempts to unattended locations.
  • Missed deliveries caused by the recipient’s unavailability.
  • Taste or texture preferences.
  • Orders that were not stored properly after delivery.

Our goal is always to make it right and ensure your satisfaction.

When you make a purchase or register on our site, we collect data such as your name, email, phone number, and shipping address to process your order. Payment information is securely processed through our verified payment gateways and is never stored on our servers.

  • All products are made in a facility that handles nuts, dairy, soy, and gluten.
  • Alcohol-infused desserts are available only to customers 21 years or older and require confirmation of age at purchase.
  • Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.
  • Fresh Taste Bakery reserves the right to refuse service or cancel orders suspected of fraudulent activity.
  • Photos of products on our site and social media are for reference only. Each item is handcrafted and may vary slightly in appearance.
